Our Beliefs
We are proud to have created the College Internship Program Foundation to strengthen our commitment to provide the best education and services to our students with Aspergers, Nonverbal Learning Differences, High-Functioning Autism and other Learning Differences.
On a daily basis the National Admissions Office addresses questions from prospective and current students and their families regarding financial needs in the enrollment process.
The College Internship Program provides as much aid as we can to students and their families who apply or currently are enrolled in our programs.
The Foundation's initial objective is to increase the need based partial scholarships for tuition assistance and to make it available to off-set some of the financial needs of current or enrolling students in our centers nationally.
Through these efforts, we hope to offer annual financial assistance to five additional students at each of our center's. In order to create and maintain an endowment for scholarship aid, we are in need of your financial assistance. This is where you can assist us in helping students and their families.
In the future the role of the foundation will also be expanded to include funds allocated for program enhancement. Programs will be designed and implemented to foster increased professional staff development, cultural field trips for students, important guest speakers and increase staff conferences. The students will be the real winners in this scenario through these enhancements.
An additional area where the foundation can have a positive impact and where there is an opportunity to effect dynamic change is by enhancing the physical plant or contributing to capital improvement projects.
With your help we hope to raise $200,000 a year, in assistance for our students. We have already had two lead donors contribute $125,000 to be disbursed over the next five years. We would be grateful for any contribution you wish to make to The College Internship Program Foundation, Inc. All contributions are tax deductible.
We understand that some of you may be challenged to fund your own student at this time. We encourage you to pass this on to any relative or friend who may be supportive of our mission. These funds are distributed by a separate board, consisting mostly of parents and donors.
Since 1984, we have worked hard to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of young people with Learning Differences. Through your generosity to the College Internship Program Foundation, Inc. we will continue to provide needed benefits to our students and their families and continue to complete our mission and expand our vision.
